More standup comedy

My girlfriend and I have developed this understanding. When she's being all pissy and on the rag, I just go to the medicine cabinet, grab 2 Midol, and put them on the coffee table. I then go about my business as if nothing's happening.

Well, the other day she was particularly... bloated... and I couldn't take it anymore. I didn't want to be mean, so I subtley dropped 2 Midol next to her Coke and went about my business. She picks up her Coke and starts flipping out on me, callin' me a dick and whatnot.

I'm just like "What?! Isn't that what I'm I supposed to do when you're raggin' and bein' bitchy?"

Now she's really pissed, scowls, and fires back: "I've been off the rag for a week now, asshole!"

The motorcycle's registered, but damn...

Wow. Cold this morning.

Note to self: Don't ride your motorcycle to work when it's 40 degrees
outside.

Oi.

Haircut, nap over lunch, and working Latino Night at PJ's. Joy to the world.

Also a test to see if this will post from here properly.

So many updates, so little Astroglide

First, the motorcycle runs. Getting it insured and tagged today. $75 for
insurance for the year, and who knows how much for tags. Hopefully not too
expensive.

Secondly, Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy debuts Friday. BRING IT ON.

A motorcycle ride to Cassoday early Sunday with the Pops and Mike from
bowling. Apparently it's a first Sunday of the month ordeal. We'll see how
this one goes.

Saturday, early morning work to get Mary packed up and moved. C'est la Vie.

Ali's cat apparently has some serious health problems, but won't know more
until tomorrow. Everyone pull for her and Reese.

Tonight's bowling and probably a bit of craziness. I suspect copious amount
of imbibed liquid confidence is on order.

Until next time, Robin! Same Bat channel, same Bat time!

"I Walk Alone"
Oleander

i can't take this anymore
and i'm almost pretty sure
i've been here before
i can't take this any longer
i won't heal until i'm stronger
strong enough to not be afraid
of what anybody thinks
of what anybody says
about the way
about the way i am
so i'll wait until the day
when those feelings fade away
then i'll make my break

i can't take this anymore
and i'm almost pretty sure
i've been here before
i can't take this any longer
i won't heal until i'm stronger
strong enough to not be afraid
so i leave it up to you
yeah i leave it in your hands
respect your wishes and your demands
but if it was up to me
honey we'd already be back at home
and living out our dreams
living out

everbody and everything i've known
never taught me how to stand up on my own
had to learn it from the one who let me go
now i walk alone, yeah i walk alone, yeah
living blissfully

i guess you had to step away
to make me want to be
a bigger man, a bigger man than that
i need you by my side
as i take it all in stride
I put away, i put away my pride
oh i leave it up to you
yeah i leave it in your hands
respect your wishes and your demands
but if it was up to me
honey we'd already be back at home
and living out?

everbody and everything i've known
never taught me how to stand up on my own
had to learn it from the one who let me go
now i walk alone
yeah I walk alone, yeah
i walk alone
i walk alone
i walk alone
i walk alone
i walk, oh yeah

Living in the Great Outdoors

I wonder if I could make it homeless?

Could I, in the greater scheme of it all, survive without a roof to call my own? It's getting to be spring and summer. Can I survive one big campout? Is that even possible? Where would I do it?

I've got secured living in August, so it's what? 4, 5 months?

I'll ponder this one more in a while.

Sin City Graphic Novels

Sin City Graphic Novel Cover Posted by Hello

Courtesy of my good buddy Jerry, I have ALL the Sin City graphic novels. I'm gonna read up before I see the movie; gonna see what the big deal is.

Found the iPod. Jerry took it to teach me a lesson. I contemplated choking him out and clobbering him with the 3-hole punch.

At least Little Lamb has returned home. *content sigh of a parent getting their kidnapped child back*

Leslie Ann Sullivan

Aged 1 month, 10 days. And me, afraid I'll accidently break this frail piece of life.

Let's go tubin'

So.

I may need ear tubes.

*sigh*

I'm afraid to call the doctor, but I think that may be the case, and I'm afraid to deal with it. At the same time, I'd like to be able to hear again.

The basic procedure is that they cut a small hole in your ear drum, and drop a tube in, relieving pressure and allowing the buildup to clear. Procedure is 15 minutes long. The tubes stay 6 months to several years, from the reading. I'm not excited, but whatever makes it to where I can hear properly and balance properly would be GREAT. Not to mention the irritableness of the continuous pain.

Info about ear tubes found here.

Mitch Hedberg passed yesterday

Mitch Hedberg - RIP

My favorite comedian has past. I wanted to see him live, had the ticket, let it go, and now I'll never get another chance to hear him live. I'm more upset than I could even imagine. I was literally depressed yesterday because of it.

Here's to you, Mitch. May your Fritos always be grilled, may you never drive steamboats, and may your ant farm finally grow something.
